Tasks to be performed :

• Review and implement technical integrity and process safety engineering standards in accordance with Glencore standards.
• Provide coaching and support to site managers on technical integrity and process safety engineering standards.
• Implement assurance activities to ensure that technical integrity risks are adequately managed,
• Develop, contribute to and review, analyze process hazards and other relevant process safety activities.
• Comply with Glencore’s environmental management requirements and procedures as well as MUMI SARL’s environmental policy.

Profile sought :

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Demonstrate a minimum of three (3) years of experience in process safety, engineering, integrity management and a minimum of 2 years in operational risk management.
• Ability to identify and assess hazards and recommend corrective actions,
• Interpersonal and intercultural communication,
• Fluency in English is an asset,
• Familiarity with your process safety engineering software, and
• Control of chemical reactions in a copper and cobalt processing environment.
