PROBLEM WORTH-SOLVING
According to projections from the World Economic Forum, Africa will become the fastest growing continent in the world because of its youthful population. It is estimated that by 2050, Africa will have more young people than the rest of the world. The speculation that 40% of the world’s youth will be in Africa is very exciting, especially when one considers the potential value in positioning the continent as the next growth frontier of the world. Many countries in Africa still have high rates of unemployment, particularly
among young people.
This prediction has massive implications for human capital and human capacity
development on the continent. However, even though Africa will have more young people who can potentially transform the continent, if the right conditions for developing this population are neglected, they could end up exacerbating poverty and inequality while threatening the continent’s peace and prosperity. Therefore, Africans must act on this speculative opportunity.
Africa has the right to improve its economic power in view of the continent’s intellectual wealth and highly qualified manpower. To close the development gap while forever changing the fate of Africa, the Skills4Afrika is launching a recruitment campaign with the aim to recruit highly skilled migrants to transform AFRICA. The time has come for the continent to showcase its economic strength by bringing together African migrant experts working especially in the West as well as young graduates of African origin.
To implement the project, our agency organizes an annual recruitment summit in different countries focusing on “Recruiting Skills for Africa’s Transformation” for two days. We also introduce a pre-integration internship in Africa for a period between 16 to 24 weeks for African students.
OUR SOLUTION
The objective of the summit will be to discuss and address the issue of brain drain in Africa. This program will also aim to encourage the African Diaspora to play their role for the emergence of the continent.
